It was very upsetting to see the stores damaged near my job. Of course, we get to pick and choose the stores we break into and the more valuable, the better. More windows were being boarded by the second.
I am supposed to be leaving work after the curfew and I am so uncomfortable. We had to basically beg to leave early today. If I don't get out by 8 PM, my husband can't pick me up since they're not allowing cars below 96th Street. If I leave after 8 PM, the transit is very empty. I really don't know why my job did not come up with a good plan of action. Of course their options are also confusing for reimbursements and whatever else.

As asinine and useless as these protests are throughout most of the country, its unfathomable that they are taking place in the epicenter of covid in the USA
can’t wait for all the idiots on facebook to repeat the “rioting is the voice of the unheard” garbage tomorrow. Oh and don’t forget “property can be replaced, but a HUMAN LIFE can’t!!!!!!!!!”
