Teachers still need to get paid as long as they're doing online classes. Whos going to pay them if our taxes not funding them?!

I understand the question.
As a former educator they are many perks that can not be implemented while away from the
physical classroom. Added up this is an expenditure that could be returned to the taxpayer.

That's all I'm going to say..............

As the spouse of a retired teacher, but nonetheless a taxpayer, I agree. I'm sure that there a number of things around the schools and their grounds, that could be eliminated, if the buildings are empty. AND, the DOZENS of school buses won't be needed, therefore the maintenance costs can be greatly reduced, and no fuel costs will be incurred.
