However, the state on the whole has 18 million. NYC is host to 8 million.
People upstate need to turn out in droves to win.
Republicans need to take the surrounding counties of nyc to win. Suffolk, Nassau,westchester, rock land, orange.
Most of upstate is red. But they need to vote.
Most of "conservative" NY is not that different than NYC. They like their welfare up there too (just in different forms).

Hopefully all of the weed smoke in the air will mellow out the NYC residents that vote Dem and cause them to forget to vote. Not that there's anything wrong with cannabis

That's why she's ducking him on debates. Why bother when the chances are that she will most assuradly win in November. Why ruin a good thing? There should be a law that requires front runners to debate at least 3 times.
