You’re brainwashed into thinking masks don’t work just so you can justify not wearing one. There have been a plethora of studies proving that masks reduce spread. Don’t believe it? Fine, but stop dragging others into your nonsense beliefs, or lack thereof.

You do not have to be exposed to germs that can make you sick in order to have a healthy immune system.

Whatever source of information you read, you need to stop right now.
New Covid cases in NYC are at their lowest since March 2022!

The NYT reports this statistic every day.

Are people still coming down with covid? Yes.

Is it the same worry as two or so years ago? No.

Covid will never go away totally, it will join influenza as just another respiratory bug people have to worry about. Just as some either of their own free will or via mandate (government or employer) get flu shots every year, covid will join that list.

Biden is ending federal covid emergency 11 May 2023. If there are still those out there afraid of their own shadow over covid, fine; mask up, keep buying tons of hand sanitizer and otherwise carry on. Rest of us have better things to do.

Updated post.

Federal covid emergency will end 11 May 2023, not May Day as previously written.

As for what it all means:

Biden is ending federal covid emergency 1 May 2023.

Is there a particular reason why our young, healthy and sophisticated president picked May 1, 2023 to end the emergency? In other words, why the three month wait?
