Hey people I haven't really been following this much because I thought I had no shot, but if they reached 1500 in a year there are 3 years left for the list correct?

My list number is 36XX....Anyone whose been following this closely think that I have a shot? Just got hired for Bus Operator. As I'm typing this I'm realizing that I'll probably have a better shot at taking a promotion exam.

Does anyone who works for MTA know how often they give promotion exams?

Thank you.

Melting:IIRC, from what I heard, its three to four years for top pay,and it's not that much higher. The only thing to look forward to is a increase in the next contract,if and when that happens.

Abe: Don't forget, this list is old to begin with. This is from the test given in 2009.

You could always wait for the call and when you go in,you can indicate you already work for them as a bus operator, which could speed things along.

So far,it's been a month since I was there last, and no call back for the medical. So much for a two week turnaround time.

Default Train Operator (HIRING PROCEDURES)

Hey guys first time on this forum, I was reading up on the train operator info and its all overwhelming!!
I took the test a while back, I got called up for the drug screening on 11/22/13, took the urine test. Filled out the application that came with the letter, I received the 20 page booklet (Its all filled out). They told everyone to write their telephone number on the application and that they will contact you.
Ok here's my dilemma.... It's been nearly 3 weeks now and no call!!! Does it normally take this long?? I know it cant be the drug test!! I even went back to 180 Livingston and a very helpful lady gave me Ms, Shivers number. I left about 5 VM's and nothing.
In my mind I'm thinking the worst!! Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone know how the procedure and wait time works/takes? Thanks in advance!! I really do appreciate it..
