A lot of them in the state are gone ... the one in my home town hasn't really been in operation for the past decade
We drove by this place near Auburn - definitely a throwback, basically a screen in a field .... say they are the longest operating in NYS

Earlier this month my brother took his wife & 4 kids to this theater in Avon ..... it's different in that it didn't exist when we were kids .... at first he thought he would go to Elmira as ours had closed, but found this one and had a blast
