Since in Malaysia, the average daily temperature is pretty high, comfortable room temperature for us would be very cool, we have air condition or fans running whenever possible. Maybe 70.

MrsCPG has a 0.5-degree comfort range, between 70.5 and 71. Meanwhile, I'm pretty happy anywhere between 65 and 78.

However, she programs the thermostat to go down to around 62 during the winter and I work out of the house. So I'm freezing under a blanket until I can't take any more and crank up the heat. Then she comes home and asks, "Why did you turn the heater on?"

We keep it at 62 in the summer (no a/c, either - that's just where it is without running the boiler), which I like, though my boyfriend would like it closer to 70. In the winter it's usually a bit too warm for me with the wood stove running - anywhere from high 60s to low 80s at times. I have to wear shorts, but at least it's warm enough to make bread.

Personally, I feel more comfortable in the 74-78 (F) range. But I keep the thermostat at 68 (F) during the winter. Being from Kansas, I am accustomed to all weather.

I also drive with the windows down (and no A/C) most of the summer, even if the temperature is well above 100 degrees. I typically just use the air conditioning if I am driving on the highway for a long period of time, or if I have other people in the car (rare).

It is so dry in our home in Denver, we are no buying a $400 house humidifier when we are selling, that we like it a 72F. If it was more humid it would probably be 70F.
