I was living in MN when I joined. I was very unhappy with winters that lasted more than half the year. CD helped me escape the cold gloom and dream of more pleasant places to live.

I was sort of expressing my contempt for cold weather. I had always heard, don't eat the yellow snow.

My user name I have often been willing to discuss it, but no one has ever asked. It is my dogs name and the year he was born.

Rigby was a puppy when my first wife and I picked him up from the SPCA, he had such a sad face, both my wife and I choose him out of the litter, without knowing who the other had chosen. After they brought him to us we both like the name Rigby, and kept it.

I tried to look at your dog picture, but it pulled up a thread about dogs, so I wasn't sure where to look.

Beautiful dogs and I love the linens.

My user name is just something I thought of when I was signing in, nothing spectacular.

My user name was just something off the cuff, I can't even really remember how I got it, I think I had an email address a long time ago before I was even on CD that I just carried over from that....

I must have read some website that references it... cause I see the chowhound website and I've had people over the yrs DM me and ask if I was affiliated with that site.

No, I'm not....

I try to come up with usernames that have positive or neutral connotations and that don't give any personal link to my identity.

I enjoy reading other people's usernames, especially if they are clever.

I have a ten stack. The smallest one is not much bigger than a Good & Plenty candy.
