What are the main area's of Mooresville? Downtown and Doolie/River highway? I mean if we had to walk home from the bar or walk to the grocery store where should we live? Crime in that area?

We would like to rent a house in the $800-$1200 range.

Thanks,

-Chris-

You could read this other thread about Mooresville and the Lake Norman area to give you some insight.

I like Mooresville a lot, but I prefer the quieter, older side east of the interstate. For renting a house you'll most likely need to look east also. The lake side can be very expensive.

Hi,

We are looking to sign a lease in the Sedgefield area which is between Woodlawn and East Blvd. Any input on this area before we pull the trigger. Also looking at one place on Dartmouth close to Presbyterian hospital. Thoughts?

Thanks,

-Chris-
