Actually Camden is starting to finally clean up and look decent....and attract people.....but still needs alot of work. As for the sheltered people in Urban areas not wanting change , well there part of the reason those cities are in such bad shape and it won't change intill new people start pricing them out or city Govt changes like with Camden. The Recovery will take long , but i think Scranton and other cities similar to it will regain there populations and new business. But the Residents need to stop scaring businesses and people away from the city espically in this economy. You would think people would be fighting for more businesses and ways to attract the younger population but that's not the case in Scranton , and a few other PA cities.

That is good to hear. Camden has a lot of potential. I haven't been in there in a good 7 years, but walking around (sorta dumb decision) it was like a nightmare. I can see Camden and Scranton being great cities outside of a tv show or having a high crime rate. There is so much these areas have to offer and it's a damn shame a few bad eggs are letting it go to waste.

*sorry for straying off topic. Did I mention it sucks Brunetti's is closed? Yep, I will miss that place.

Brunetti's had... The Best Sausage around for miles. And a WONDERFUL bakery that make things for you custom-ordered, and I'm not just talkin' cutsie birthday cakes. I was cravin', one time, an elephant ear and nobody in town had them. I asked the owner if he could get some for me. He asked how many I wanted. The next day, Sunday, I had 2 specially made elephant ear pastries waiting for me in their bakery. Brunetti's sold things that other stores did not at usually-good prices. Big jars of grape leaves for stuffing. Equally big jars of tahini. For awhile, you could get fabulous HUGE flatbreads/pitas there. And yes, their deli's food was fantastic as well. When I heard they were closing, I just couldn't believe it. When I saw the door locked & bolted, I had to believe it. Then, for awhile, I wanted to believe it was going to reopen in a new-to-us, revamped way, albeit certainly not Brunetti's. But now I doubt it. It does look like there's some kind of activity happening in there, a cleaning-up of sorts. Is A Dollar Store going in there? I absolutely hope not. Not only do we not need another 1$ store, it's a disgrace and a dishonor to the greatness that Brunetti's was to put something so trashy in that space. Rest In Peace, old faithful store. You served us well.
