My mom is considering moving to the Lancaster or Manheim area of Pennsylvania. She gets e-mails from some real estate company advertising homes for sale. Many of these houses are listed at prices of only $50,000 - $80,000. My mom likes these prices and that's certainly understandable but I worry about what kind of neighborhood would these low priced homes be in? I imagine that these bargains may be located in low-income/high crime neighborhoods. Slums, if you will.
