Need some advice... We are looking at purchasing a house in Fairfax or Fairfax Station and, based upon research we've done, think we'd like something in the Little Run or Mantua elementary school districts in the east or Willow Springs in the west. Some parameters we need to meet: reasonable commute, maybe like 45 minutes to Pentagon or Mark Center, reasonable commute to Fort Belvoir, and good resale value. We'd like to get the best schools out there for our three kids (one extremely intelligent, needs to be challenged and twins that may or may not need extra help, only 4 months old so too soon to tell if anything may crop up). I had heard that Mantua, while the best, may be a bit of a nightmare because everyone cuts through to get where they are going during commute time. Any recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated. Our budget is in the 5 to low 6s and we need at least 4 bedrooms.
