why not buy a poodle or a yorkie? better yet get a rescue. no need buy a "designer dog".
try petfinder.com and check the shelter, you may be surprised what you find.

No, pitbulls would eat a yorkiepoo though.

Drop by your local veterinary and see if they have a bulletin board which may have a listing. Also the local feed store may have a bulletin board, too. You could also put a "Wanted" listing on Craig's List. Do the dog parks have bulletin boards?

Yorkie-poo sounds like what a pitbull makes after eating a yorkie!

Looks like you've already asked this before - https://www.city-data.com/forum/hawai...u-mission.html

If you want a mutt, go to the Humane Society or any of the various dog rescues on the island. And yes, a yorkie-poo is a mutt. Chances are any "breeder" you would find is a backyard breeder.

Also, do not post a wanted ad on Craigslist. Craigslist has no pets wanted category as it is seen as soliciting a pet sale (which is prohibited)- your ad will be flagged off immediately.

the problem is guys, that I am looking for a female yorkiepoo puppy, which is pretty rare on the island. My wife's puppy got stolen before we came to oahu, so I am looking for a replacement and it has not been easy.

Why does it have to be a yorkie-poo? Just get another mutt at the Humane Society. There are plenty of dogs available that need homes. "Breeders" of yorki-poos or any other intentional mutt are only in it for the money. There is no breed standard because this is NOT a breed. Just because one yorki-poo had a certain personality doesn't mean another will be anything like it. This happens with any type of mutt. If you were to get a purebred dog, you would have a much better chance of finding dogs with similar personalities within one breed.
