Rainy season is now until spring and some areas of the island get a lot more rain than others. Nuuanu is much wetter than Waikiki. Sometimes there will be several inches of rain in an hour and then the sun comes out and there's rainbows all over the place. Other times we can get a day or two of drizzly rain. During rainy season and in a wetter location it can rain at least a little bit just about everyday but sometimes it will rain at night instead of during the day.

Oahu has been pounded by rain for the past week. Floods everywhere. We just got an inch or so and are still in the middle of the worst drought in twenty some odd years. Something like 35% less than the driest year ever. My poor garden has been dried up for months now. I've let it go fallow since it's been so dry. That, however, is not Oahu. Their problem is excessive rain and way too much of it.

How is Kailua beach in Oahu today? I hear there's some spill from the Waste water? Are there still brown water warning all over Oahu?
