That is crazy! I hope she can go into town or somewhere where there is internet and let us know how she is doing, or at least tell us how the move went/is going. LOL your in Alaska and you still are able to get on here.

Yes, we were just commenting on how at one time the okie chat was a great place with a lot of good people. Now it seems most have moved on.

No one to pick on anymore.

Oh well,

As a young country boy, my older brother and I would walk down the road singing at the top of our lungs.

"Everybody loves a nut,
Whole world loves a weirdo,
Things are in a rut, but,
Everybody loves a nut" .

Even today, for those that are still living, they tell us how they smile when they remember us singing that song as we walked down the road.

Lifes to short to be walking around with frown on your face all day long.

Nope! And I like it that way. The best half (Bjb123) says that Senility and I will have an easy Transition.

Hi Beavercreek. Yes I wish MaryBeth would let us know how they are doing. Actually I believe it's something like 70-80% of the people in Alaska have computers/internet connections. We are so darned isolated it's a great way to stay in touch with family/friends, ordering products, etc. We have pretty good connections up here. All I can figure is MaryBeth must have went wayyyy into the boonies.

Because we are mean and nasty. J/K, I don't know. IDK, some people like a topic with meat in it, so they can really chomp down and shake it like a dog shakes a rabbit.

On occasion we get out-of-staters posting:

a) some bizarre news story they read about that happened in OK

b) someone who has moved from OK and now constantly comes back to the okie forums to rant and hate.

C) some weird lame ass stereotype posts like, what do NDNs eat on the reservations? Or Why does Oklahoma live so backwards?

Then our cheerleaders vs the haters come out en masse.
