We are @ the 50" mark, for snow. Some of it has melted/packed down/crusted. But every new snow fall, brings ground blizzards, and white outs, now. We made it thru Jan. and this month is close to being 1/2 over, but it doesn't stop people, from being grumpy, LOL.
Strong winds we could do without, for those areas that had the power outages, the lines are temp fixes. A few areas still have waterline issues, where water tower towers froze.
We could use an early spring! But I won't hold my breath!

Wow that's alot of snow. Knock on wood..we've had a fairly mild winter. Today was about 33 and sunny. Only thing I heard predicted this weekend was show and rain showers.

Is that a normal winter for S.D. debey?

Hmmmm...wonder where EB, Bjb, RB, MK, ptsum and Beavercreek are? Way too quiet in here.

Hmmm, I don't know about the rest of them but I'm still here, we're supposed to get some more snow come late tonight and tomorrow into Tuesday, I'm supposed to register at OSU at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, guess I'll be leaving here at about 9 a.m. in order to get there in plenty of time....

I bet at this point you are sick of snow. When is your surgery scheduled for?

Yeah, I'm getting a little tired of this stuff, my surgery is scheduled for somewhere between noon and 1 p.m. on Wednesday and from what I understand it's a four-hour procedure...

Well my questions are: Are you allowed to eat before this surgery? Normally they want nothing on the stomach. How long is the hospital stay?

I am supposed to check in at OSU at 1 p.m. on Tuesday for consultation and admittance, so I'll be in the hospital overnight before surgery which is on Wednesday afternoon, so I guess they'll be controlling what I eat, and after surgery if everything goes accordingly, I'll be in the hospital about four or five days and will finish up recovery at home, so if everything goes according to plan I should be home by maybe Monday....
