Yes, and it wasn't good. First she said she wanted a taco. Then she wanted a diet Pepsi. When I brought the Diet Coke~that was all they had, she began beating me about the head and shoulders.

Diet coke is my favorite. And not because it is a diet drink; I like the taste.

Let us know how Kari is when you hear anything. It would be much appreciated. It's a shame that she is in the hospital during this time of the year.

Kari, our prayers go out to you!

Okay, I'm back home. I don't quite feel up to being bright and cheerful yet, so that's gonna have to wait awhile. The whole experience was bizarre in the extreme, because I never actually felt sick, just frustrated because my poor aging body refused to cooperate with me. A blow by blow account would be excessibely boring, both for me and for anyone reading it. I will say that one of the things I tested positive for was Rocky Mountain Spotted fever - go figure! I could have understood that while I was at Camp Peaceful, but certainly not here and now.

I did not not not beat RB about the head and shoulders! I was way too grateful for the tacos. And I have to say that this is the only hospital I've ever heard of where they let you bring you own cell phone, so I did get in some conversations around the country.

Kari,

I am SO glad to hear that you are home and healing, if not feeling better. Please take care and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
