Dr took off my cast today, said it was healing nicely, and put me in a splint. He has me out of work until the 20th of February. I need that time to get everything packed here. I already put in my resignation effective Feb. 26, which will also give me a few days. The movers are coming on the 29th. Doug will most likely leave the 26th.
33 minutes is not bad.... At least in my limited experience...
Especially if the job, co-workers are and the pay are good.

Oh, so his name is Doug...
Now I can stop calling him "Mr. Colleen".

Movers?
I thought you decided to go with PODS?
(Which I finally looked into.)

Also...
Here's the solution to having 2 kids fight over music on a long trip...
Make a rule that YOUR music will reign.
(Yeah, I know... I'm SO mean.)

We were going to use PODS, in fact had them lined up, and the deposit paid. However, once Doug realized he won't be here the day we would be loading up to move, he decided it would be easier on me if we had a professional moving company. I like that idea. Less stress for me. This way I can save up all my energy for the trip. BTW, I have a REAL hard time insisting on having things my way. I just wish my kids were as easy going as I am. But ---- in all honesty I wasn't too easy going as a teenager either.

You could have had your TEENS load the POD.
Then they'd be too tired to fight about music on the way to OK.

I can't imagine you being a difficult teen.

Great news! AND your DH doesn't have to use his cartoon new joisy accent to say "ovuh on east toity-toid street" or "yeeah yeeah suure suure". *I KNOW< I KNOW! you'uns don't talk like that.

the teens will have their mp3's and Ipods going the whole way.

P.S. To all other IT folks. When our state agency put out an ad for an IT person, the only one who applied was an 18 y/o kid!

Colleeng, here is the mental picture I want you to mimic:
