HI there, I would like some information about the area around Broken Bow Lake. Interested in buying some land, at least 10 acres. Would prefer land backed up to or near Forest. Or land that is on the Lake. Does anyone know the average per acre price in this area of OK? Could be next to one of the small towns close to the lake. Any info greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what land goes for around Broken Bow lake but there is information on local Realtors at the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce website http://www.brokenbowchamber.com
Just click at the top where it says community information and it's down the page. It's beautiful around here so I hope you find something that meets your needs and you enjoy the area as much as I do!

Hello Bugqueen,

I am a broker in Broken Bow. Please visit my website at beaversbendrealty.com. The avereage 1 acre lot in the Hochatown area (which is the community surrounding Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend Resort Park) is $35,000 to $45,000 per acre. Broken Bow and the rural communities, (Lukfata, Hollycreek, etc..) are considerably less. The Hochatown area is visited by over 1 million people annually thru our State Park. We are only a few hours from the Dallas area, Shreveport, OKC and Tulsa. Most of the cabins are on the rental market to tourists with the owners being from Texas and using their cabin throughout the year. I also manage cabins you can see what these look like at beaversbendcabins4rent.com. Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you. Thank you.

Broken Bow is such a beautiful lake. I took some friends from Tulsa down there a few years ago and they were blown away by the beauty of the lake, mountains and Forrest.
