Wanta cheap one?
dell inspiron 530 specifications - Google Product Search
Cripes, I could afford the cheapest one. But I'd want XP Home or Pro, not Vista.

And I don't much like Dells, even though my newer one is a Dell. It was cheap, too.

Those aren't cheap, either. The one sort of reliable yard mower man I found had one he said he paid over 7,000.00 for. Probably why he charged so much to mow.

I've worked on some ZTR's that were listed over 15.000.00. John Deere's one of them.

I've never paid that much for a new car. Just goes to show how long it's been since I bought a new car, I guess.

$7K and $15K for a freaking lawn mower? Geez, bad as the peso. I went to A&W today, and our fast food for 2 was $16. Pretty soon, it will be $100 for two burger and fries "value meals".

<Pulls pants up close to chest and tightens white belt.>

<rant over>

BTW, where is LR? She was supposed to take a few months off. Hello! Your vacay is over, woman! Back to Mod School Refresher course!

Now you know why I pig out when I get the chance. It lasts me about a week... Besides, it's way too hot to cook at home.

when I think about inflation - which I try not to do very often - it always reminds me of All Quiet on the Western Front, when the Germans were taking their 'money' in wheelbarrows to get a loaf of bread or whatever.

The ones that cost the most (mowers or vehicles) are usually considered Commercial.

Kari, ask mk what price should be fair for mowing your lawn. That price you quoted me was WAY too high.

I bet you could get the whole yard cut for $40. I would just bulldoze the whole back acre too. It's a freaking jungle back there!

Momma Mouse update. She ran away and came back 2 days later looking like coyotes got to her. I fear she is not long for this world.
