Top third of all metros. Not bad.

Someone has to support millennia and the ferrari/aston Martin/tesla dealerships besides tourists. Since you know there is no nice shopping where tourists come from

Tesla has a store in Orlando now?

That's awesome, I've been looking into getting one when I move, but didn't want to have to drive down to Fort Lauderdale for servicing. I'll most likely wait for their starting $35k model. I think it's supposed to come out in 2017. Florida doesn't offer any credits, so it's quite pricey for me.

Their actually moving into a bigger space. Regarding the Rankings that actually is not that bad but things change all the time and considering they are using 2012 data its not really accurate as it is 2015. Places have grown and added wealth as well as since than.

Longwood, technically. And compared to a regular car, it doesn't need much servicing

Doesn't sound like they are closing the Longwood store

The tourists support Millennia, ask around next time you're there. I work in retail (formerly with a retailer that had a location there) and they'll all tell you outside of Macy's and a couple of other retailers that it's the international tourists especially who keep them in business, much like the two Premium Outlets in town. Have you noticed what has happened to Florida Mall? It used to be high-end but as leases ran out pretty much all of the higher-end retailers have pulled out and it's now a typical mid-tier mall. Lastly using exotic car dealerships as a sign of overall affluence is kind of lame, since they're typically in areas where the 1% have second (or third) homes. It's not as if the Central Florida roads are humming with lots of 100K or more cars.

I was thinking the same about The Florida Mall. They still have some unique, not available at every mall in the country stores on the interior of the mall. However, with the departure of Saks, Nordstrom, as well as Lord & Taylor a few years back, from the outside, it looks like your average mall with a JCP, Sears, Dillard's, and Macy's as the anchors.

Give it a few years. As the leases come up for renewal we're going to see more leaving.

It's not exactly in the best part of town and there have been a few incidents of petty crime to make the news millennia is newer and right off i4
