If you were selected for Jury Duty would you talk about the case with your Spouse/SO/DP or family even though the Judge says not to ? Moot point for me, but no I would not.

Bonus Question:

How much is your local daily newspaper ?
How about the big Sunday edition ?

I have no idea we have subscribed to it for about 40 years now and I never buy a paper.

[b]Today's Question(s):

If you were selected for Jury Duty would you talk about the case with your Spouse/SO/DP or family even though the Judge says not to ?

I never have, but my husband once discussed a case with me when he realized a few days into it that a prominent name in the case was familiar to him. It turned out to be my gynecologist.

Bonus Question:

How much is your local daily newspaper ?

Beats me. We gave up on the WaPo about 3 years ago and haven't missed it. The reporting went downhill and I mean really downhill. The Wall Street Journal is what I read now.

Extra Credit Question:
lol time to make me feel old

Was there a Black & White TV in your home while you were growing up ?

Yup, and I continued owning them well into adulthood. I probably got my first color tv sometime in the 80s. I wasn't much of a tv watcher in my 20s and usually watched at a friend's house, so I saw no need for it for myself.

Inquiring Minds:

Bank ?
or
Credit Union ?

USAA

Just for Fun:

Does your Doctor or Dentist's office have "good magazines" in the waiting room ?

Well I think so, although they aren't the standard idea of good magazines. I've never heard of most of them, but I find them interesting.

Probably

I doubt it is different from the daily - very small towns around here

Was there a Black & White TV in your home while you were growing up ?
Yes, color TV hadn't been invented yet.

Do you remember when you got your first color TV ?
No, but I remember that it was a real treat to have a color TV. A real thrill for the family.

Bank ?
Credit Union ?
I've had both and prefer a credit union, but use a bank nowadays

Does your Doctor or Dentist's office have "good magazines" in the waiting room ?
Nope.

If you were selected for Jury Duty would you talk about the case with your Spouse/SO/DP or family even though the Judge says not to ? Not while the case was in session.

Bonus Question:

How much is your local daily newspaper ? I think it is .75 a copy.
How about the big Sunday edition ? $1.50 but they must not be selling that many because they have guys on the street corners hawking them for $1.00.

Let me add that I haven't had home delivery for years now and only read the paper if someone left it at work. I can get the same news on the papers Online edition and it is in real time.

Extra Credit Question:
lol time to make me feel old

Was there a Black & White TV in your home while you were growing up ? Yes and it had a 12 inch screen. We had a large 19 inch sceen when I was really little. It was one of those furniture looking cabinets. I remember heading over to the drug store with my dad to pick up tubes when they would go out. When the big tube burned up my dad and mom decided to replace it with the 12 inch screen. They figured that we should be spending more time reading anyway. Back then those TV's had two dials, one for the UHF channels and one for the VHF channels. About the only ones we could get to work were the VHF channels 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 13. This was when cable wasn't around yet. We had a big antana on the roof as did everyone else on the street. When my parents wanted to change channels they would have us wlk over to the TV and turn the dial.

Do you remember when you got your first color TV ? I remember it but by then I was too busy to watch TV. I was 17 when my parents bought their first color TV. I liked the fact that they did that because I took the black and white and put it in my room. Everyone else could fight over a show, I watched what I wanted to watch.

Inquiring Minds:

Bank ?
or
Credit Union ?

Or both. I have always used a bank and my wife had always used a credit union. Now we use both.

Merry Merry Monday

If I were on jury duty I would talk... Now I might not talk during the trial especially if it was of a serious nature and an gag order was issued. I am not only going to talk when I can if it is a hi-profile case I am writing a book.

I have no idea how much a newspaper is now. Online or TV news... that's how I roll

The Dentist magazines suck, but the medical doctor's rock!

Love and Peace and a whole lot of happiness
