Good morning all from a barely daylight, cloudy England. Now then, obsession hmmm. A
couple of years ago I was very interested in Susan Boyle. What happened to this very
ordinary woman overnight became a bit of an obsession. I followed her story for quite a
while. I don't get to watch award broadcasts. The Oscars are on Sky TV, which I don't
have. Shame as I used to like seeing them. I don't wear jewellry of any kind - Judy makes
up for it!! The Olympics don't have any real interest to me. I used to love watching
Sebastian Coe and his Olympic efforts 30 years ago, he was a great runner. He is an MP
here in England, and is organising the upcoming Olympics. I would love to meet him, he was
a hero of mine. My thoughts on OJ Simpson? Well, they got him in the end, maybe not for
the right thing, but it must be of some comfort to his ex-wife's family. Bye!!!

I'll typically watch a few events, but I'm not a big sports fan overall, and the Opening/Closing Ceremonies don't interest me at all.
Do you have a favorite event?
Figure skating (women's, men's and pairs -- not dance) and gymnastics. Last time, I also found myself watching several of the curling events, which I found surprisingly mesmerizing.

I wear an oddly-placed earring, and a locket.

The locket holds a photograph of a loved one, and the earring just signifies that I'm weird .....

NO. In fact, I tried my best to avoid it completely, which was extremely difficult as co-workers discussed it ad nauseum.

I've mentioned a few times that I'm into learning tai chi right now. It was a New Years resolution. I started at the suggestion of my doctor. I decided I'd rather learn it now than try to take it up at a senior center.

Not really but I lived in Los Angeles at the time so it was hard not to know every newest wrinkle since everyone was talking about it. I felt he was guilt but would get leniency because nobody wanted to see another riot.

My partner and I exchanged golden rings to symbolize our life long commitment to one another.....the purity of gold.....the unbroken circle of the ring.....and our decision to "marry" ourselves in the presence of God and the universe....make it significant.....I never take it off.
It symbolizes that I am now part of "we"....and will never again be alone.
