Hello, kids! Today's Tip comes to us compliments of Ruby Wilfong. Thanks, Ruby!
I've paraphrased the info, which was in a newsletter which Ruby's son forwarded to her.
Scroll on down and check it out!

BENEFITS OF DRINKING HOT LEMON WATER

Lemons are high in vitamin C and potassium. A mug of hot lemon water in the morning can help you fight colds, stimulate brain and nerve function and control your blood pressure.

If you drink lemon water every day, it'll balance your pH - reducing your body's overall acidity.

Lemon juice aids digestion. It also can help with weight loss because it's high in pectin fiber, which helps fight food cravings.

A hot lemon water in the morning is a diuretic, making you urinate more frequently. This, in turn, helps you wash away toxins and keeps your urinary tract health.

The vitamin C in your morning lemon drink can also help clear your skin and reduce wrinkles.

Warm lemon water is a good cough suppressant.

So, on your next trip to the supermarket, pick up a bag of lemons and start using them daily. They're so good for you!

You're preaching to the choir here Pam. I love 'em! It's why I grew dozens of trees and have 4 in my yard. I like lemons in lots of things.

Love lemon juices with shot of bourbon in it. Cures the sinuses. I don't need any more diuretics. I pee 20 times a day as it is...

I have frequent urination problems as it is, and that's all I need is to make more trips to the bathroom everyday and alarm, or amuse, my roommate with my curisng/yelling every time I have to interrupt my pleasures in life to make those trips! And at my age, you know how it goes: drip, drip......drip...............drip................. ..................drip............................ ..........................drip!

If the price I pay is more wrinkles, that's a small, teeny-weeny price to pay for a few less trips to the bathroom!

But thanks for the tip, Pam!

I always drink hot lemon water when I have a cold.
I also read recently that it could help with blood circulation...

Love bourbon with a FEW DROPS of lemon juice
Rum with lemon taste pretty good too and so is vodka
Even a hot tea seems to get sophisticated with a slice of lemon

Great tip, Pam!

Knew lemons were good for us, but had no idea they were beneficial for so many things.
