And now for Saturday's Questions

Do you have any artistic talents?
Not particularly, though I enjoy art and music. Last weekend I went to an open studio event at a complex of artists' studios that was a lot of fun.
What are they?

I used to love to paint and draw as a child. I can still draw a little, but I haven't got what you would call "artistic talent." I can also play a musical instrument a little, but again I'm not talented.I appreciate talent in others. I guess some of us were meant to be performers and others were meant to be audiences.
What kinds of paintings/pictures do you like?
I enjoy abstract and plein air.
Do you like the Opera?
Love, love, love! ♥ ♥ ♥ I have been an opera fan since I was about 12 years old. When other parents of teenagers were complaining about rock 'n' roll music, mine were saying things like "Turn off that cat fight" and "What are they screaming about?"
Do you like Ballet?
It's OK. I'll watch it, but I'm not a huge fan of any art form that makes me feel fat and clumsy by comparison.

Extra Credit Questions:
Wine or Beer?
Computer Whiz or
Computer Basic?
Indoors or Outdoors?
Cactus or

Bonus Questions:
Tell us about your last “good” customer service.
A waiter at one of our favorite restaurants boxed up an extra dessert for us to take home, on him.
How about the last bad customer service?
Appliance salesman promised a refrigerator to us "next week." When next week arrived, they said it was in their warehouse and they would call me back to set up a delivery time. Then they didn't call, and when I called them, they said they didn't have it and couldn't get it until mid-November.

And now for Saturday's Questions

Do you have any artistic talents? Oh no, I'm terribly untalented. I played three instruments as a child/adolescent (recorder-descant and soprano, piano, drums) but I was never very good at any of them. And I was always terrible at art, even my 3 year old laughs at my drawings.

What are they?

What kinds of paintings/pictures do you like? Landscapes mostly. I like paintings in the Impressionist style best, also from the Romantic era

Do you like the Opera? I do enjoy it

Do you like Ballet? Not really, probably because I was forced to do ballet as a child and it instilled some resentment towards it in me

Extra Credit Questions:
Wine or Beer?
Computer Whiz or Computer Basic?
Indoors or Outdoors?
Cactus or Bonsai Plant?
Scuba Dive or Skydive?
Medium Rare or Well Done?
Png Pong or Pinball?

Bonus Questions:
Tell us about your last “good” customer service. Hmmm...not sure...probably at the post office when I asked them to check out the size of a parcel for me so I could decide if I was going to pick it up right then or not (was walking so couldn't carry a big parcel), they were nice about it when I rather expected them to just tell me to take it

How about the last bad customer service? I don't know, can't remember any.

And now for Saturday's Questions

Do you have any artistic talents?

Maybe.

What are they?

Does Photography count?

What kinds of paintings/pictures do you like?

I like to photograph birds. I like looking at paintings and photos of them less. I like scenic photographs that are stark. You know, like one unusually shaped tree with no leaves standing in a field of high November colored grass or a shack in the middle of nowhere or a small boat in a storm.

Do you like the Opera? No

Do you like Ballet? No

Extra Credit Questions:
Wine or Beer?
Neither
Computer Whiz or Computer Basic? somewhere in between
Indoors or Outdoors? Depends on the season - outdoors: winter, fall and spring; indoors: summer
Cactus or Bonsai Plant? cactus
Scuba Dive or Skydive? Neither
Medium Rare or Well Done? Well done
Png Pong or Pinball? Eh
Gas or Electric? electric
Elevator or Escalator? escalator
Google or Yahoo? google
Sweet or Salty? both
Bracelet or Necklace? Neither

Bonus Questions:

Someone in Sams Club did a great job with my photos and went out of her way to do it.

How about the last bad customer service?

Has to be Panera Bread. The odds of them getting your order right at a drive-thru window or take out is probably less than 50%. Unfortunately, you don't know it until after you get home.
