We did our downstairs bath this past year and it was well worth it.

We are now are thinking about hardwood flooring throughout to replace aging carpet.

It's the little legs, that are the problem, in long grass.

Yes, it’s nice to see some good news with regards to Wales, for a change, as we’ve had a lot of bad things happening in Wales these last few weeks. So, well done Natasha.

When we moved into our house, there was carpet in the bathroom - which isn’t ideal, is it? So we took the carpet up, and varnished the floorboards.

It looks a bit rubbish though. I’m now sort of thinking of painting over them. I don’t want to spend money on other new flooring, as we are (still) hoping to move house in the future…

Bathroom carpet? That is unusual.

I have some retiling to do on the floor in one of our upstairs bathrooms. I'm hoping the subflooring is still good.

I know. Before we bought our house, someone else was supposed to buy it, and they picked out all of the flooring etc. Then for some reason, the sale of the house fell through for them, and we ended up buying it. So we ended up with all of the fixtures and fittings, that the other people had already chosen! I always wondered why they chose to have carpet in the bathroom though…

Good luck with doing your bathroom floor. You sound quite busy at the moment!
