Today's Questions: What are some good places to walk for exercise? I try the indoor mall on HOT days, it's cool inside and few people in the early morning. Also the city park is a good spot if the weather is nicer.

Tell us anything that happened in a mall: nothing other than I walked and then stopped at the food court for coffee and a roll.
Have you been to a mall that has fountains in it? no fountains at the mall I go to. However there are a number of others that have fountains outside.

Some people walk at malls. Do you ever go to the mall anymore? Hardly ever, it's not really close by
Tell us anything that happened in a mall: I used to work at one of the big chain department stores in customer service years ago and part of my job was to wrap presents. I wrapped a gift for a lady during the holidays and she obviously didn't like where I placed the bow and threw it back at me, hitting me in the face. It was the most demeaning thing I had ever experienced at that time and it was all I could do to keep from crawling over that counter and kicking her Scrooge butt!

Today's Questions: What are some good places to walk for exercise? Parks, especially ones with bike and walking trails. Beaches and also the local enclosed malls are good.
Some people walk at malls. Do you ever go to the mall anymore? Very rarely in the main part of the mall. The only reason to go to my local mall is Costco is one of the anchor stores and it's the only store there I patronize.
Tell us anything that happened in a mall: I grew up in the next city over from my current one and when the mall there was still fairly new, I heard that a male streaker ran down the length of the mall (during the early morning before it opened), went outside and got into a waiting car which then sped off. I understand the police chased the car down but I don't know what happened afterward.

Do you have a favorite decorative public fountain anywhere? I'm not aware of any around here.
How about any favorite typeface fonts? I tend to like sans serif fonts like Arial. I also like using a different font every day for the QOTD, in case anyone noticed. This one is Trebuchet MS.

What are some good places to walk for exercise? Fortunately, I live on the outskirts of a very small town; so have lots of empty country lanes to do my walking/running
Some people walk at malls. Do you ever go to the mall anymore? Don't bother with shopping centres (malls); too far away, too crowded, too expensive, nightmare trying to find a parking space, hassle actually getting there by road and just not worth the bother by foot - especially when loaded up carrying a myriad of shopping bags!
Tell us anything that happened in a mall: Nothing really happens at my local shopping centre; just hundreds of people milling around looking for bargains, shouting at their kids, talking, pointing, laughing, getting stressed out because they can't find what they're looking for. It's a veritable cornucopia of humanity in a confined space
Have you been to a mall that has fountains in it? Yes, and a small waterfall. But it was closed down because some drunk teenager decided to dive off a ledge and into the shallow pool below the fountain. Teenager broke his neck. So the fountain/waterfall/pool was closed for safety reasons
Do you have a favorite public fountain anywhere? There's a nice one in our local park! On hot summer days you can stand underneath it and cool down (assuming you're wearing the right attire)
How about any favorite typeface fonts? I do like Century Gothic & Verdana

What foods and drinks do you like to see for sale at a mall food court? Never bother really. Although it would be nice to see more international cuisine available - especially Japanese, African & South American foods

Have you ever planned a funeral? Not yet, but I know that day will come sooner or later. I have already drawn up a "What To Do... Who To Contact...." crib-sheet, so I am least prepared to some degree, as I can imagine trying to arrange a funeral for family member can be quite emotive and stressful. So would rather prepare early
Have you pre-planned and pre-paid any funerals? My parents have Life insurance, as do I. So if anything happens to any of us, the funeral bills will be paid for.

Where I work the employee parking lot that is shared with other businesses will due. One mile if I walk it 3 times, Add about a quarter mile just to get there
