Holy cow! 30 years old? I've got jewelry older than you. But hey, you're welcome to join in the fun, if you want. It might put you to sleep with all us old fogies talking 'bout days gone by. We don't discriminate, though.

I remember bed sheets that were top sheets but had elastic in the corners of the sheets on the foot end of the sheet.

It's funny you mentioned this. Not too long ago, I was reading a blog on a "frugal living" website about making fitted sheets from top sheets. The person had an over abundance of top sheets that were in perfect condition (I think she said the bottom sheets wore out). She showed step by step photos of how to turn those top sheets into fitted bottom sheets. I thought it was very inventive and worthy of being crowned "frugal queen."

That is nothing, I probably have left overs in the icebox older than that. But I am scared to look.

Ah yes. Mystery food. Not sure what it was, how long its been there, or if it was once animal or vegetable.

I'd never heard that one before. Here's an old timer doing a version of it on a youtube video.

How about some of the old entertainers we enjoyed "back in the day". Burl Ives, Jimmy Dean, Johnny Cash (watching a youtube video with Johnny and Burl singing together), Smothers Brothers, Sonny and Cher in their younger years, Red Skelton, and somewhere I have a VCR tape where I recorded the last two Johnny Carson shows

I also have the final Johnny Carson show on tape. It would be great if a tv station would start running his shows from the very beginning. It would give me another 30 years of late night viewing. lol
