Your comment reminded me of this song written several years ago by one of our local fellows.

Sour cream glasses. They aren't that old. They're being sold as "vintage glassware" online.

I remember taking sewing in High School in the 70's.

Back then we would sew most of our clothes, maxi dresses, maxi skirts, mini skirts, mid drift tops, halter tops, etc.

They didn't have all these stores and designer clothes back then and there wasn't much to choose from in the junior section.

Clothing stores were small and mostly basic, what little selection they did have was expensive at the time.

We enjoyed making most of our clothes, how else could we wear cool stuff !

I still have all my silver and turquoise jewelry

I remember when people could convert a section of their house into a neighborhood grocery and it was safe to send an I year old on foot after a loaf of 16 cent bread.

There was a neighborhood grocery store in a house on the way to my school when I lived in Montana. If I was lucky I would find a pop bottle to trade in for my days worth of candy.
