Driving at night in fog. 14 years ago I clocked a buck on a foggy night. I was 8 months pregnant, and woke up in a ditch. Because of our location, we had to walk a mile to the nearest house. All I can remember is the lady saying, "honey can you sit over here, your bleeding on my couch." I did not feel my baby kick, and was very worried. When I got to the hospital, they immediately took me for an ultra sound. As soon as that cold gel hit my belly - KICK! I was so relieved!
If I'm by myself in my apt with the window open (and I always have the window open), if I hear something outside or while walking (especially near or in any woods), or when I'm in the shower & I hear something, I will scare the crap out of myself. I watch way to many horror movies, but their my favorite movies to watch.
What haunts me? the image faces. Two years ago, I was staying at my grandpa's house and I was watching TV at around 1:00 AM when I looked over at the window next to the backdoor I saw two people outside trying to break in through the backdoor? So, we blocked all the doors and called the police. They got away before the police arrived. The image on their faces haunts me. It was made worse by the fact that the burglars were my uncle and his girlfriend.

I was in Hurricane Rita in 2005 for about five or six hours, things hitting the house, the house was shaking, a 110 foot tall pine tree fell and missed the house we in only by a few feet. I have a new respect for hurricane season now!
