Hey! Let's dig in to . . .
Yes! Let’s!

Today's Question(s):
Are there any store brand products you prefer to the name brand products?
Oh. Arg! There definitely are store brands that I like just as well but I feel like there are at least one or two that I like better than the name brand. I can’t think of them now. My husband likes a couple generic Diet Dr. Peppers better than the real thing.

Foodie Question(s):
Do you ever freeze candy - Snickers, Reese's, etc.?
Yes! Stop spying on me! I froze the last bite size Baby Ruth today. Forgot it was still around

Are there any candy bar inspired ICE CREAM BARS you like?
I like Snickers ice cream bars even though I had my first gallbladder attack after eating…ummm…two of them

Do you like raisin bread and do you toast it?
I prefer cinnamon or cinnamon raisin but I’ll eat any of it. I’ll eat it toasted or not toasted. Mmmm. Usually I eat it with peanut butter but now I’m thinking of having it toasted with butter. Actually, I don’t think I’ve seen plain raisin in ages. A family friend used to make it for my dad. She made raisin pie too.

What different kinds of tea do you like?
Mostly black teas like Ceylon or black tea blends like English Breakfast or Earl Grey. I’m not into teas with fruity flavors like blackberry. I don’t like green tea - I swear it gives me a tummy ache. Also don’t like chamomile or most herbal teas. For iced tea, just a basic black tea - unsweetened unless it’s at a southern BBQ or some such - then I like it around 3/4 sweet tea (sweet - not “sweetened”) and 1/4 unsweetened. I can’t handle a big glass of real sweet tea - gotta cut it a little.

Do you have a preferred brand or type of peanut butter?
Jiff.

Just to:
What color is your car or other vehicles?
Jasmine green - one of those muted colors that hides dirt well and doesn’t stand out

Based on color if your vehicle(s) had a flavor what flavor would it be?
looks more like Blue spruce than anything I’d rather eat. So, I’ll go with mint chocolate chip

Have a flavorful Thursday.
Many thanks indeed!

Today's Question(s):
Are there any store brand products you prefer to the name brand products? Not really that I can think of

Foodie Question(s):
Do you ever freeze candy - Snickers, Reese's, etc.? Nope

Are there any candy bar inspired ICE CREAM BARS you like? A long time ago there was a Baby Ruth ice cream bar I liked

Do you like raisin bread and do you toast it? I buy a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread every now and then and toast it in the skillet

What different kinds of tea do you like? Just regular tea

Do you have a preferred brand or type of peanut butter? Jiff creamy. It's good to make peanut butter fudge with too!

Just to:
What color is your car or other vehicles? Blue

Based on color if your vehicle(s) had a flavor what flavor would it be? I kind of go along with an old George Carlin routine. I've never seen blue food! lol

Hey! Let's dig in to . . .

Today's Question(s):
Are there any store brand products you prefer to the name brand products?
Food City square cheese ravioli.

Foodie Question(s):
Do you ever freeze candy - Snickers, Reese's, etc.?
I freeze and eat frozen anything made with pudding or custard but not candy.

Are there any candy bar inspired ICE CREAM BARS you like? None are registering. (Edit: forgot about Snickers)

Do you like raisin bread and do you toast it? I don't hate it but I don't eat it, either.

What different kinds of tea do you like? iced tea: Arizona Green Tea and Arizona Raspberry Tea. I drink it all year long. While I don't dislike hot tea, I only usually drink it to be sociable when dining out with people who drink coffee after a meal.

Do you have a preferred brand or type of peanut butter? Skippy

Just to:
What color is your car or other vehicles?
silver

Based on color if your vehicle(s) had a flavor what flavor would it be? Uhhh... The only thing silver coming to mind right now is liquid mercury and that's not coming near my mouth. Aren't there little edible silver balls that bakers put on cakes sometimes? Yeah, I'm not eating that either (probably have a cleverly disguised mashed lima bean filling under the silver).

Today's Question(s):
Are there any store brand products you prefer to the name brand products?
Plain foods like corn flakes, oatmeal, potato chips, tortillas, bread and veg juice (V8 knockoff).
Foodie Question(s):
Do you ever freeze candy - Snickers, Reese's, etc.?
Snickers, Twix, Almond Joy, just took a Reese's peanut butter cup out of the freezer yesterday.
Are there any candy bar inspired ICE CREAM BARS you like?
Snickers is my favorite.
Do you like raisin bread and do you toast it?
It's good just by itself, toasted or not. I've made a peanut butter sandwich with it.
What different kinds of tea do you like?
Regular black tea is my favorite. Also like Earl Grey and Sleepytime.
Do you have a preferred brand or type of peanut butter?
Store brand works for me, though I forgot to add it up top.
Just to:
What color is your car or other vehicles?
Truck is light brown. Car is silver.
Based on color if your vehicle(s) had a flavor what flavor would it be?
I think the truck is caramel.
LauraC is right, what's silver? Have to go with those bakery sprinkles . . . on a chocolate cupcake.

Hey! Let's dig in to . . .

Today's Question(s):

Are there any store brand products you prefer to the name brand products?

Costco's Kirkland is ok

Foodie Question(s):

Do you ever freeze candy - Snickers, Reese's, etc.?

I do freeze some chocolate candies, but not the above.

Are there any candy bar inspired ICE CREAM BARS you like?

Never had any.

Do you like raisin bread and do you toast it?

I like brioche or challah with raisins. And I don't toast it, just eat fresh with butter.

What different kinds of tea do you like?

I like to splurge on tea. Use mostly loose leaf. Darjeeling, Keemun, Wakoucha, Assam Rani, Yunnan and Russian teas are my favorites. Sometimes I would buy plain black tea and add to it scented tea like orange, bergamot, jasmine, saffron or lotus.

Do you have a preferred brand or type of peanut butter?

I don't eat peanut butter.

Just to:

What color is your car or other vehicles?

After having my whole life black cars, my current car is a gift (not going to say no to a gift...lol) and is pearl white.

Based on color if your vehicle(s) had a flavor what flavor would it be?

Pearl onions?

Have a flavorful Thursday.

Thank you, bjh, for the tasty questions

Hello, hello.

Today's Question(s):
Are there any store brand products you prefer to the name brand products?

I'll use any store's generic detergents for dishes or clothing or storage products like cling wrap & zip lock bags... I normally buy Target brand. They all work fine. But, with foods, I find generics don't taste good, specifically condiments like mustard, ketchup or olives & pickles.

Foodie Question(s):
Do you ever freeze candy - Snickers, Reese's, etc.?

As a kid, we froze Snicker's bars. I haven't eaten sugar since then... I don't like it.

Are there any candy bar inspired ICE CREAM BARS you like?

No. I don't like chocolate, so if I did splurge once/yr for ice cream, it would be vanilla only. I know... I like simple flavors & don't like to be overwhelmed by too many flavors.

Do you like raisin bread and do you toast it?

I used to eat a lot of raisin toast as a kid with a lot of melted butter. Haven't had it since then.

What different kinds of tea do you like?

None, but if I did drink it (once in a blue moon) hot or cold, it needs to be black only, no sugar or cream.

Do you have a preferred brand or type of peanut butter?

No, I developed an allergy to peanuts & most nuts later in life... odd.

Just to:
What color is your car or other vehicles?

Black, currently covered in wildfire ash.

Based on color if your vehicle(s) had a flavor what flavor would it be?

So funny you'd ask this as I just realized last week I've had synesthesia my whole life, as does one of my sisters. I taste foods with words. It was mentioned during an interview & I didn't know it wasn't normal.

So, the color black reminds me of black licorice & that's what I actually do taste, for real. And, if anyone's curious, my sister & I do not taste the same flavors with the same words... a few are the same, but 99% differ.

The most annoying word to me is experience because I get a strong craving for a beer. Funny thing is I rarely drink, but with that word, I feel like I almost can't stand it if I don't drink one. BTW, I don't give in to it, but the craving stays with me throughout the day. No other words linger with me for a long time, just experience... odd, huh?

And, now that I said it... dang...

Have a flavorful Thursday.

Happy Thursday to you, too, TY.

Hey! Let's dig in to . . .

Today's Question(s):
Are there any store brand products you prefer to the name brand products?
I like many of Trader Joe's brand products, and some Walgreens or CVS generics are good. (Others not so much.)
Foodie Question(s):
Do you ever freeze candy - Snickers, Reese's, etc.?
No, but it sounds like a good idea. I've had frozen Snickers bars at movie theaters.
Are there any candy bar inspired ICE CREAM BARS you like?
I like the classic kind. Just vanilla ice cream in a chocolate cookie sandwich.
Do you like raisin bread and do you toast it?
Yes and yes, though I'm cutting back on breads so I haven't had any in a while.
What different kinds of tea do you like?
My favorite is Fortnum & Mason Fortmason blend (loose leaf) which I have to mail order. I also like Constant Comment and mint tea.
Do you have a preferred brand or type of peanut butter?
Yes, I like Laura Scudder's (local brand) or Trader Joe's 100% Valencia peanut butter.
Just to:
What color is your car or other vehicles?
Jasmine green metallic (a light silvery green).
Based on color if your vehicle(s) had a flavor what flavor would it be?
Mint.

Thanks, bjh!
