People who want to ban or outlaw something they have never owned or tried and know nothing about.
that concept has been around for... well... ever. Even on the dawn of this here country, way back when.
Have you ever heard the saying "the only good Indian is a dead Indian"? This was quoted as coming from a General ( wish I could recall his name now). Who in fact Never went futher west in his life/career then the Mighty Mississippi. During a time when most all Indians were pushed out of the eastern states localities. This man who never once met/saw/came in contact or had any dealings first hand with any Indian finally is presented with a dead body one day that had been 'touring' that part of the country. This man takes one look and makes his statement which then inturn becomes a national theme or mantra of sorts to the whole country.
Yep the concept of wanting to ban something, distroy, develope laws against the unknown has been around for a very long time. sad fact to human nature I think.
What bothers me is people shout the loudest and don't know the facts about what it is they want to ban.
Some folks just like to hear themselves talk and go on and on when they haven't a clue.
They drive me nuts.
That and People who leave shopping carts in the parking lot without returning them to the right spot.
Grrr. I saw this yesterday and I think what Lazy..........
They make me so mad
Everyone has an opinion even when they don't know squat. I especially like the ones who want to ban things that is "our right". If you don't know what you are talking about then be quiet and take a hike, lol.
I've never had kids but I know what proper manners and behavior are and I have very little tolerance for parents who don't act like parents!!!
I second that!
