A lot of learning in life is learning the right prices. Unfortunately there are many learning curves for people.
You can even bring your rotors in to have them turned which will save you even more. Brake are pretty simple.

Yes, they can be if you have the right tools.

The manual shows pictures of the tools needed for each project...and
what tools can be sustituted.

I called for a repair and they were going to check it out and get back with me. I'm still waiting for the callback and it's been since Friday that I called!

Can you use a different company?

What is it with people in business and returning phone calls Our whole society seems to have a darned phone glued to their heads but we never seem to get people to call back.

Maybe they need to start teaching phone etiquette in school

No I can’t use a different company yet, but the tech called back on Friday and said that he’d give the problem to an engineer. There was a problem with mismatched versions of equipment and parts and they were going to see if they could work out something.

Tell the customer what you can do for them, and then do it.

I suggest you call them and ask for an explanation on the delay.

If it was just a check out and not for a repair, you can refuse to pay for any work they may have done without your approval.
