How do you pronounce the word Coupon? Do you pronounce it as "Coo-pon" or "Cue-pon" or both? I have a tendency to use both pronunciations.

I wasn't sure whether or not this would really fit if i posted it in the Writing Forum, but if i'm wrong, feel free to move it.

Cue-pon.
I say this word almost all day at work. I would say that most people say it the other way. I'm not sure what the right way is.....but I doubt I'll change the way I say it.

I'm with you...I say it both ways! Not sure why? Kind of strange to flit from one pronunciation to another...Oh well!!!

Oh Wow, I've said it both ways. I thought I was so definite with my language. Like counselor is Cown-sell-or not con-sell-er. Hang-er Coo-men. Weird!

That's a good question, a question I was just thinking to myself about the other day. I've heard it pronounced both ways, but I've always pronounced it as CUE-PON. I guess either way is OK.
