Today's Question(s) :

As we were made aware of last week your Census forms should be arriving

So, have you gotten your form ? Yes, I have

Have you completed and sent it on it's way ? Nope

Anyone else say "wow that was really easy" I was expecting more questions ?
or
Wow there are lines for up to 12 people I was surprised it was basically for the amount of people living in the house, I expected a lot of noisy question. BTW, I didn't give my telephone number because it is a private number. If they want it, they can get it anyway.

Bonus Question:

When was the last time you changed your hairstyle ? Actually, I change my hairstyle yearly. I've been doing this for years. My hairstylist loves me!! She hates when women get stuck with one style for their life.

lol when was the last time someone "gently suggested" maybe you should change your hairstyle ? Never

Extra Credit Question:

If given the chance, would you take a ride on a
Submarine ?Does taking the Nautilus sub ride in the Cayman Islands count? LOL
Fighter Jet ? Yes
Hot Air Balloon maybe
NASCAR race car ? Yes
Worlds largest roller coaster ? Yes, I'll close my eyes for the height part. I love fast rides.

Just for Fun:

I can not resist a sale on _shoes______ ?

Today's Question(s) :

Yup, it showed up a couple of days ago.

Have you completed and sent it on its way?

Haven't even opened the envelope yet. I usually don't look at the mail until the weekend, when I have more time.

Anyone else say "wow that was really easy" I was expecting more questions ?
or
Wow there are lines for up to 12 people

I'll answer that after I open it this weekend.

Bonus Question:

When was the last time you changed your hairstyle?

Oh, I'd say it was round about two decades ago.

lol when was the last time someone "gently suggested" maybe you should change your hairstyle?

I have no idea, because I wouldn't even realize that they were making the suggestion.

You see, I pick my hairstyle based on a couple of very simple criteria. It has to be something that I can make ready in five minutes or less in the morning. It has to stay put all day without being touched, brushed, patted, smoothed, fluffed or otherwise messed with. And it has to be out of my face, out of my neck and off my ears. I don't give a hoot what it looks like. If it meets those criteria, I like it. And if others don't consider it attractive, well, they don't have to look at me.

Extra Credit Question:

If given the chance, would you take a ride on a
Submarine?
Oh my lord, no.
Fighter Jet? Ditto
Hot Air Balloon? I not only would, I have - see below.
NASCAR race car? Oh dear merciful heavens, NO.
Worlds largest roller coaster? Uuurrrrpppp...... Ah, that would be a no, and pass the barf bag, please.

Re: the hot-air balloon ride - I gave my spouse a ride in a hot-air balloon for his birthday a few years back, and even for someone who hates heights (me), it was a fabulous experience. I'd go again in a heartbeat.

I was expecting more questions ? yes, and I think we are missing a great chance to gather some real information on the citizens of this country.
or
Wow there are lines for up to 12 people
Turn the page over, it had even more lol.

Bonus Question:

When was the last time you changed your hairstyle ?
It has been over 20 years now, but it has started changing color all on its own. I guess it was tired of waiting for me to make a change.

lol when was the last time someone "gently suggested" maybe you should change your hairstyle ?
My wife will sometimes suggest I grow it long again, but I think men with long grey hair look like they are in a mid life crisis. I prefer to look like I am in no crisis till I plop my butt in the little red convertible sports car LOL.

Extra Credit Question:

If given the chance, would you take a ride on a
Submarine ?
yes
Fighter Jet ? oh yes
Hot Air Balloon
already have and would again
NASCAR race car ? Ride or drive.
Ithink some of them drive a little crazy.
Worlds largest roller coaster ?
This one I am not sure about. People seem to make a lot of noise on them and it would take a lot of pleasure out of having your stomach in your mouth over and over again.

The only thing that bothers me about the Census, is they asked
do you own, rent, or have a mortgage. none of their business. All they need to know is how many in the house. I did not answer that question. or the one on What is your phone number. It seems to me...those are questions they don't need. This is a count of people. I have done research on the family tree, and looked up Census. I have copies from way back 1800 and early 1900. some questions like these was never asked.

Karla, very good questions. I did receive the census, but have not filled it out and change my hair due so often a hostess at a restaurant I frequent asked if I was a hair dresser. And nobody had better suggest I change or I may(LOL). I would take a ride given the chance... I like adventure and those rides sound exciting. I cannot resist a sell on shoes and clothes especially at Dillards. I know it's a little late to extend my happy St. Pat's day wishes, but I am extending them to all...yall

We are conditioned to answer the most probing and intimate questions on Karla's QOTD....so the census seemed like child's play.....I was ready to spill the beans....tell all...I thought it was so non-invasive as to be a waste of time......I was waiting to hear that the census fairy was coming and wanted to know.................................and why.
