That's funny.

The great thing about pumpkin is how versatile it is, actually. I can use a can (nope, I don't make homemade pumpkin puree...add it to the list of things I don't do...) for quite a bit.

I do have to move on as I've just finished reading the monologue.

If I truly need to feel worthless as a mother, I will read the backlog of Martha Stewart Living magazines that are building up on my bedstand.

She has proceeded to tell everyone that if your child drinks nonorganic milk they will, if a girl, have their period b/w the ages of 5-6yrs of age & if a boy, have facial hair by 8.
Hmmm...my son would have drank a lot more milk if he would have thought he'd facial hair early! 17 and still none. $7.25 a gallon! Good grief.

My son will be working on the organic farm again this summer. I didn't buy much from there last year. This year I do think I'm going to do the co-op though, mostly to support the farm. It's family owned/operated. And he's been great to DS, who loves working there and has learned an unbelievable amount. DS been wanting me to do the co-op. I'm just worried I'm going to end up with a ton of odd stuff. But the share that feeds 2-3 people is $378 for 21 weeks. I would love to do the eggs as well, but it comes out to $5 a dozen for those weeks, which I just can't bring myself to do.

He said it includes herbs as well. Which I'm happy about. Make my own salsa.

I have a friend who works security at the hospital in my town. He's going to help me get a job there as a security guard, its more related to my career, I already know the guards and nurses there from being there with the police and ill get to work with the cops that bring people in and the ones that come in and do off duty work.

I sure hope he can sweet talk his boss into giving me an interview.

Security guards (at least the ones I have ever been around) have to stand during their shift.

Do you honestly think you have what it takes to be a security guard? I mean not to be a debbie downer but we are the same size and I most definitely don't think I could hold my own against someone who was on drugs and enraged. Do you know how strong someone on cocaine can be? I hope you aren't working at the ER! Everyone who has guarded any type of building has been about 6'5" and 300 lbs.

Makes sense. I tend to have a skewed view of things since NYC seems to be an expiation to everything.

Like all my friends in Ohio have drivers licenses and here all my friends who are native NYers have no clue how to drive.

I have heard from a few that the Wii version is decent.

Another thing I keep seeing pop up b/w friends on FB in particular is P90X. I am thinking about it b/c you can get it for a free trial for 90 days.

But I love walking/running outside. I really don't think anything beats it.

I use to run. A lot. But right now completely not practical b/w dh's work schedule & age of the kids. Been out of it for about 3yrs & miss it.
I apologize for being a buttinsky, but the P90X if you can do it will kick your butt, we have friends who do it and they say it is so challenging that even after doing it for months they still get sore. I have a friend that really toned up using it, I am to chicken to try it. I have the Zumba series but I look like a moron when I am trying to do it. I think I am going to try and get Zumba for the Wii, I am sure I will still look like a moron but oh well.
