*rapidly bashes head into desk*

None of my friends want to do anything fun tonight, they're all on the SS No Fun back to puritan land.

Maybe they're growing up. Be careful. You don't want to fall behind the pack.

No, they are just have stuff early tomorrow and I don't. Usually they are so down to do something, get together and have some fun.

There isn't anything wrong with having a little fun. Tuesday is my Thursday, Wednesday is my Friday and well you get the idea, so these 4 days I like to try to do something...anything at all because come saturday and sunday I have to be at work at 7am and I work 12 hour shifts so I don't go anywhere or do anything except straight home to shower, eat and go to bed, or i'll shower, eat and then go to TG's to sleep.

Just because you get older doesn't mean you stop socializing.

I vividly remember realizing that going out on weeknights was a thing of the past. It was right after I got my first "real" job and had to be at work at 7:30 M-F.

My Thursday and Friday are my weekend though, tonight is my Thrusday.
This is a "real" job, just like when I become a cop that will be a real job and most likely I will be working Wed-Sat and have Sun-Tues off.
Just because it isnt the traditional M-F doesn't make it any less real.

But I just worked 4 days straight having to be at work at 7am, two of those days being 12 hour shifts, I had yesterday off but its nearing the end of my week and I would like to do something fun, which is not unreasonable, just because I work the weekends doesn't mean I have to stop having fun on my days off since my days off aren't the weekends.

Plus I am too young to stop going out on the week days.
I am 22, I do not have kids, I am not married, now is not the time to "settle down".
Now when the time comes, you know like getting pregnant *doesn't knock but punches on wood*, getting married *crosses fingers*, then I won't fight it but if I have no reason to settle down then why should I? I don't do anything just for the sake of doing it.
