Well its not that bad,I mean its just signs to say that you are best friends whether same or opposite sex its not that much if a issue but dating at ages 15 and under is just ridiculous and a very young age for romance

This is probably her first boyfriend, but keep an eye on them as much as you can. Just because he's quiet doesn't mean much.

BTW, this day and age, 12 year olds DO have sex, especially if their friends are bragging about "doing" it. If she's a sweet girl and she hangs around with a good bunch of kids, that doesn't mean anything. Nice kid have sex too.

If this goes on for a while, I think it would be time for her mother to step in and tell her about birth control as much as you don't want to think about your daughter having sex at such a young age. Hormones, media and peer pressure are present all the time.

Depends on the neighborhood and the kids. My sons father started having sex when he was 11--and that was considered normal where he was from...

Kids who do that at that early of an age have been sexually molested in some form or another.

Oh geez, someone asked me to update this thread I totally forgot about this as it has been some time ago. It is funny how your problems get replaced with new ones in life. So much has changed for our family. Anyway one thing I learned is tweens and teens are fickle and change their likes quite often. So nothing bad ever came from this and in retrospect many more major events have unfolded since then, on a completely different subject.
