Kids are very expensive, and the more you have the more expensive it is. When they are very young there are the diapers, wipes, clothes, car seats, cribs, baby food etc. When they get into school they need school supplies, nice clothes for school, $ for lessons if they play a musical instrument or play soccer etc. Their toys get more expensive as they grow older and so do their clothes. Then they get into high school and want designer clothes, their own cell phone, computers or laptop, a car, school supplies, video games, etc. Then they turn 18 and if you are lucky you have raised them to be responsible and work for what they want. They may go to college and may need you to pay for it or help them. Something else I didn't mention is insurance, doctor bills, dentist bills, and maybe braces.
