Disagree, the state store's liquor prices are lower than in NJ. Wine, depends, but I'm fine with buying in PA.

Beer in PA kind of sucks, because you must buy a full case or shop at the Wegmans.

If you are speaking of the Wegman's in Mechanicsburg, I agree. They also started selling beer at the Giant in East York.

You can buy small quantities in bars, restaurants and some convenience stores. The convenience stores will have separate entrance/cash register for the beer sales. I don't know if there is a minimum but you can only purchase two six packs at most, there is nothing preventing you from going back in and purchasing another 2 six packs.

Sure, if you want to pay out the wazoo. The two-six-pack limit is stupid.

Are you saying you can not buy a 6 or 12 pack in PA?

I would say that depends on where you buy it from.

Yeah, it's cheaper if you buy it in another state.

Clever.

Obviously, I meant where you buy it in PA.

It's more than buying a case of beer but that is generally how it goes with most purchases no matter what the item is. The two six pack limit is stupid but they do it to protect the monopoly on the distributors, having said that the bars are protected by limited hours the distributor can be opened. What needs to be done is lift any remaining limits on the hours of operations for distributors and lift restrictions like the two six pack limit on bars. There should just be a single liquor license to sell any form of alcohol and how you use it whther it's distibutor, super market, a bar or a combination of those is up to the business owner.
