Pittsburgh has about 6" on the ground. Lost some actually from this last storm because it rained a good bit.

Well Erie is now about a foot above the typical snowfall by this time in the season and we have another snowfall event predicted for tomorrow. The snow is really piling up and the snowpack is getting very deep with at least a couple of feet on the ground and with the cold temperatures on the way I don't expect much melting. The blizzard near Boston vaulted Worcester way up there and South Bend edged Syracuse out of the top five again.

And that's OK by me! I told my mom she wasn't going to see me until April. I had enough snow the two weeks I was in Erie before Thanksgiving.

I would have guessed the accumulated snow for Philly, so far, would be 3.5 inches. It seems like we only had a couple of light dustings and not much more.

Well Erie was knocked out of the top spot by Worcester (Boston area) and Boston vaulted up the list this past week. It will be an interesting finish to another crazy winter where some areas are way below average and other areas are way above.

It looks like Pittsburgh is now behind schedule for snow this season and so is Philadelphia, while Allentown is a little above average for the season.

3.5 inches is pretty close to the 5.2 total listed on Golden Snow Globe and Philadelphia did dodge that one storm that hit NYC and Boston. I also see that Philadelphia has snow in the weekend forecast.
