$45k in an okay year, $55k in a good year. $66k one year in California. Then about $3-$10k on the side playing in bands. One really good year I made close to or maybe a little over $20k doing it. Fiance is 31 and makes $10k-$12k a year.

Not sure what exactly my net worth is.

Owe a little under $60k on a home that's now worth $130k after renovation's. Bought it for $63k and put in over $20k worth of work. Maybe even $25k. It is a 15 year mortgage and should be paid off by January 2029. Don't have any stocks, bonds, 401k, etc. No fancy vehicles. Have about 18 months left on a loan for a 2014 Harley Dyna Glide. I think there's $7k-$8k currently left unpaid on it.

$150,000 - $200,000/$36,000.

401K $500,000; House equity $150,000; misc personal property +/- $100,000. No other savings/investments.

Retirement will probably be possible at about age 72. Good thing we both like our jobs.

I'm curious. How do a retired early 50's fireman and RN get to $1.75 million net worth? Inheritance? Investing in rental properties for 25 years?

Firemen and RN's receive excellent compensation NY. If someone is even halfway savvy I can see that individual having a net worth of $1.75 million at that age. There are many avenues to getting there. I have no idea what his particular strategy could be but I would not be surprised if no inheritance was involved.
