I thought they had a clear road to win the Super Bowl last season ... If they don't win this year, there's no excuse.

Their biggest threat in the NFC (San Francisco) has come back down to Earth and the big three in the AFC (Kansas City, Buffalo and Cincinnati) all look very beatable.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Baltimore vs Eagles Super Bowl. I know the NFL would be very comfortable with that.

For the life of me I don't know why they didn't change the name to "The Pigskins." They could have continued to call them "the Skins" and the only offended counter-party would be the Swine lobby. lol.
The easiest and best solution that I saw suggested at the time was the keep the Redskins name and change the logo to a potato.

Are you suggesting that the Ravens are a dark horse that would take the AFC by surprise?

I deifinitely agree that the Chiefs are beatable — the Broncos just beat them, and the Chiefs don't lose to the Broncos.

In any event, if I haven't said this already, if the Chiefs and Eagles do wind up in a rematsh, this time, I will be in the Eagles' corner.

Yes. Throw $20 on the Ravens to win the AFC.

Yes. Throw $20 on the Ravens to win the AFC. If the Eagles don't make it, I'm a Lions fan.

No one's playing better than the Rats right now. They should change the team name to the Baltimore Lamar. He IS that team. I've watched the Baltimore Lamar do nothing but win for years. They drop dumb games sometimes but when that dude is playing like he is right now, they win. If he gets hurt, their season is generally over but he's playing light's out.

Burrow is starting to get right but outside of that, show me one of these ridiculously high-priced QBs who's signed huge extensions that is playing well. Only Lamar has been worth it so far.

I hate that team. But they are the class of the AFC at the moment.

This is what a conference winner's schedule looks like: 11/5 - Dallas, 11/20 - @Kansas City, 11/26 - Buffalo, 12/3 - San Francisco, 12/10 - @Dallas, 12/17 - @Seattle. I'd be thrilled to go 4-2 in that gauntlet. Glad we have SF at home ... the Seattle game would have been nice at home, too.

Tough stretch, right there. 3-3 is certainly doable. 4-2 if ya catch fire.

The clock always strikes midnight for Lamar in the playoffs, though. That will be the albatross around his neck until he proves people wrong.
