This narrative is left over from the start of the season. A bunch of teams on the Eagles schedule were bad last year and supposed to be pretty bad again this year and overachieved (e.g. Giants, Commies, Vikings, Steelers, Jags, etc.). The division as a whole had the best overall record of any division in football, no teams with a losing record, and 3 playoff teams. The Eagles schedule was expected to be easy, but in retrospect, turned out to be one of the most difficult.

I don't consider anyone a notch below Mahomes, LOL. He may be the best QB or even player in the history of the league. I can't remember anyone who can do the things he does. With that said, I do think Hurts deserves the MVP for this year, and the Eagles are the most complete team in the league this year.

Fans 100+, greased lampposts 0, from what I hear.

Walnut-Locust station was closed when the fourth quarter started. Those of us waiting for northbound trains were sent to City Hall or Lombard-South.

I'm watching the other game at home now, natch. This one's a nail-biter with a bizarre series of plays just concluded. Tied at 20, 9:26 left in the game.

Edited to add: There's no active discussion of the Chiefs right now in the Kansas City forum. 'Tis passing strange.
