It may be quiet at Big Charlie's on Super Bowl Sunday, for in the regular season, the Chiefs lost to both of the teams who will be squaring off to play them next week today. And Patrick Mahomes got injured yesterday, though he still played and kept the Chiefs ahead of the Jaguars throughout.

And if the Bills win, the game won't be at Arrowhead but in Atlanta, so the Chiefs lose home field advantage.

That's okay, for I can still return to rooting for the Birds.

Who are you rooting for if the Chiefs and Eagles make it to the Super Bowl?

"I'm a forever Kansas Citian and an adopted Philadelphian." I think that's all I need to say. (Like Philadelphians, Kansas Citians carry the place with them in their hearts no matter where in the country they live — or whether they will ever live there again.)

However, I will add that I will be no less happy if the Eagles win.

Edited to add: But given the Chiefs' misfortunes when they take on the Bengals, I may not have this problem after next Sunday.

That’s an ideal scenario. No matter what happens you’ll still end up as a “winner” lol

I want to play the Chiefs for two reasons:

1.Hurts beating Mahomes will solidify his position as a top 3 QB in the league and help build a case for why he should be league MVP

2. Defeating the best team in the in the biggest moment will quiet all the naysayers. Narrative this year the eagles are a fraudulent team because of their easy schedule.

How can #2 be true? I thought the Eagles have beaten more teams with winning records than any other NFC team. Beating winners is not usually an easy schedule.

Eagles are just 2.5 point favorites... Disrespectful

A rookie QB going against an elite secondary and a historically great defensive line. Good luck.

Eagles are one of the most hated teams in the league. It doesn't help that the largest sports networks (ESPN + SportsCenter) are based in NYC. They'll find any reason (true or not) to discredit our success.

'Beating winners is not usually an easy schedule'
Ironic part about this is that the 49ers lost more games to teams above .500 than the Eagles (who have 0).

It is a pro-Dallas media. They love their Cowboys.

Between you, me and the fencepost, I personally consider Hurts a notch above Mahomes, and Mahomes is awesome.

He also has a better defense working to give him opportunities to shine.
