Highly disagree. This airport is amazing everyone is so friendly including TSA employees. The bathrooms are extra clean and Im in and out, to and from the airport with ease. Now if you want to start a stressed out vacation come to JFK in New York City.

As far as signage, I think we thought it was at T-4, and once we ignored the row of signs getting there, there were no more signs going from 4 to 2 or three, so we had to go to both. As far as TSA, I think every branch has a little bit of it's own identity...if you all want to stick up for people, who are routinely scene on camera patting down little kids, then .........

I've never had a problem finding my way to or around Sky Harbor. I especially love the cell phone lots for picking up arriving passengers. Have never had any incidents with TSA (at any airport), though I hate the agency in general, and as others have pointed out, it's a federal entity, so has nothing unique to do with Phoenix.

As for the o/p's comments, s/he's unhappy with Sky Harbor and now the Washington School District. Maybe s/he just has a low tolerance for irritation.

For number 5, it seems the pilot did very much the right thing. What if it hadn't been merely a bad sensor? That's not something the pilot can tell. Yes, some airlines may not do maintenance as well as they should, but passenger craft are horrendously complex and one can't predict exactly what will fail next. If anything, it's probably better that the sensors fail before what they're sensing.

You sure you were at Sky Harbor? Because if you were I'll give you no less than half a dozen airports you should never go near.
Sky Harbor is a terrific airport and I for one am glad we have it.

I just went by the airport again today - coming from the west there are actually 2 levels of new signs ..... not the airports fault that you chose to ignore them

It's not that big of an area - first row of signs helps you find what terminal you need .... subsequent signs tell you how to get to that terminal

I am jumping on the band wagon on this one. Whenever I have been to Sky Harbor, it has been very easy to get around. Clean and very helpful people too. I have had my share of bad airports...BWI, Cha...both the worst by far.

DEN might be my personal worst (followed closely by now-closed CVG Terminal Two as far as amenities are concerned), but that's probably more United Airlines' fault than it was Denver's. The fact that a hub airport only had one guest relations person working the counter when a handful of us missed connecting flights was a little disconcerting...

I had to take someone to the airport the other day and all the digital signs were turned off. We had NO idea where to go at first.

The rental car return is incredibly hidden, IMO, when you're approaching it from the East and taking the I10 way to get there. I know you're supposed to go past the Sky Harbor exit according to the signs you see, and we just happened to get off at a random exit after saying "there's no way it's this far away" and saw a sign for it.

Other than that I think they do a great job.
