I have to lease an apt for 11 months, unexpectedly, so looking for a decent apt in the North Scottsdale area. Early 30's, single male. Thanks for any input between the two. I'm only there half the month so square footage doesn't matter.

I am also interested in people's opinions on this board regarding these two places. I have already read the reviews online and both are positive. I am also late 20s and not looking for the frat scene, but an active social scene is nice.

Ninety Degrees was my first choice when I moved here. Unfortunately they didn't have any apartments immediately available so I had to rule them out. The other big downside was that (at least in all the ones I checked out) none of the apartments had windows that opened! I looked at these gorgeous loft-style places with these floor to ceiling windows, and no way to get fresh air in there.

Gorgeous property and everyone we talked to was very nice. They promote their social scene pretty heavily.

I know nothing about Desert Club, though.

I looked at both places when I first moved here, eventually I chose Glen Eagles, the only downside is when they have the Waste Management Open or the Car Show the roads get kind of backed up, but I loved living there, pretty laid back, quiet, friendly neighbors, never had any issues with management or maintenance, was perfectly content there.

Awesome, and how was the social scene away from the complex itself? I hear northern scottsdale isnt as "hopping" as downtown, but at the same time, is the age demographic skewed older, as in late 20s early 30s or is it mainly 50's+
