While I'd love nothing more than to watch the Seahags get crushed, their defense is a whole lot better than the Jets. Wilson is much more mobile than Fitzpatrick too but if our D plays as good as last night and our O can tighten up a few areas we should come out with a win on Sunday night!

This game will be a true measure of where the Cards are as a team. They should beat the niners and Jets. Can they actually beat a good team? We will see....

This game will be total domination and complete awareness of what a Superbowl caliber contender should look like.
The Seahawks have won some games they KNOW they should have lost.
The Cardinals have lost some games they KNOW they should have won.
The difference is the word " KNOW ".
The Seahawks and Cardinals KNOW Arizona has a better team.
The Seahawks and the entire NFL's nightmare is the Cardinals finally realizing their potential.
Confidence as a team sport is very difficult to achieve. The Cardinals had it before the season started before the game with the New England took it away.
People say well, the Cardinals wins were against last place teams..
What I seen in those wins were....the Cardinals didn't struggle in those wins against those last place teams. They beat those teams on talent alone.
The nightmare is ...when they start beating teams with their minds AND talent.
The Jets game showed me something .They won it mentally as a team.
You want to take away our long ball, fine. We'll eat you up with our short game and unleash the best running back in the NFL.
On defense we have a pass rush on BOTH sides of the line.
If our # 1 draft pick who played his first game Sunday gets a rush in the middle, my goodness.
The Cardinals will be the talk of the league Monday morning.

It comes down to discipline. The Cardinals need to accept they are not last years team. They are not going to air it out and throw deep and score 40 points on opponents. This is now a run oriented team with Palmer making quick throws. The Cardinals need to show discipline and stay with the run and keep it low scoring if they have to. They need to create short throwing patters for Palmer so he can get the ball out quickly because the Seachickens will blitz.

On defense, they need to do what teams do to Green Bay now. They need to take away the short to intermediate passing game of Seattle and force them to beat us going deep. Seattle has no speed at receivers but last year, the Cardinals were giving up easy short throws to the flats and over the middle for Wilson to get into rhythm. If you take away his easy short throws, Wilson doesn't have the accuracy or arm strength to hit tight windows. He loves to scramble out of the pocket and dump off the ball to a receiver over the middle or in the short flat.

Unfamiliar with Lockett?

Wilson had incredible arm strength and had been near the tops in yards per attempt since coming into the league

The passing game had problems when they fall in love with the deep game, but works better when they go quick

Seattle also isn't blitz heavy. Their newish DC has added mire than the prior two, but they really lean I the front 4 for pressure.
