Very fun Panthers stat. In their last game, against the Saints, who are one of the most pass-happy teams out there...the Panthers were so shorthanded (and bad) in the secondary that they had no nickel back. They had to keep three linebackers on the field, every play, all game long.

So linebacker Shaq Thompson spent much of the game playing coverage that normally a nickel back would have played. He had a rough time all game long trying to play coverage. Supposedly they'll be a little less depleted this week after the bye, but, this is not a team with a lot of DBs and the ones they do have aren't very good. Cutting Josh Norman just to show who wore the big-boy pants does not seem to have been the best move for the Panthers.

So, I expect to see a whole lot of Bruce's favorite bunch plays and pick plays to exploit our speed advantage.

That said, this has been a weird season and it's an East Coast road game and we all know how the Cardinals historically do in those, so, I expect it to be a battle even if we do exploit them in some passing situations.

The Cards have NO room for error from this point forward. Every game is a "must win."

True, but by then they were out of gas after playing 4 qtrs.,and I still think our D has improved 100% the last few games. If the offense would show up we would've never been in OT. All the stats show we dominated SEA but they fell flat every time in the red zone. Special teams is a disaster with a blocked punt, blocked field goal and absolutely no kick returner and a new punter who is only 3 yards better than Butler on average.

ST and D win big games, just ask hoody. The Pats beat us with 3 of their key offensive guys missing. Hoody always comes prepared, like him or not that's why he's a HOF coach. Denver's O was mediocre and they stopped Carolina in the SB with their ST & D. Fire Amos Jones and fix our ST and we can win even though our O is off right now. Problem is this should've been done at the end of last season.

Agree!

Depending on what happens with the other teams in our division we might be able to lose 2 games max and still make a wild card spot at this point. Lets start with kicking the Panthers butts this weekend!

Ok, hope they can shake off the poor start and get things moving. Palmer has a hard time turning it around once things don't go his way.

Let's go Cards, turn the game and season around!

I had high hopes for this game but evidently this game and season are over. When Fitz starts dropping easy passes you know it's going to be a long game. There's been no consistency with this team this year, one game they're on fire then they come back flat! Oh well, maybe we can get a good draft pick next year for a future QB.

I think I need to stop kidding myself and thinking every week that we'll get it going and be just fine and sneak into the playoffs where "anything can happen." Last year we were the hunter; this year we are the hunted. We are the deer caught in the lights; we are the get-right game.

Yes, the Panthers are better than their record, but going down 21-0 nothing to a team that is 1-5 -- and making them look like last year's Super Bowl team in the process -- should never be okay.

Another Andre Ellington return all the way out to the 14-yard-line...this team does nothing but fail to live up to its abilities, over and over and over.

Watching the Cards in 2016 is like watching a talented, intelligent son or daughter bring home a report card full of C's and D's in their core classes and A in shop class or something.

At some point, Keim and Arians and Bidwill need to get real serious about making changes with 2017 in mind.

The problems go MUCH deeper than just the quarterback. When a team is this inconsistent, and unpolished, especially after being so good the year before, it reflects directly on the coaches. They need to wipe the slate clean in the coaching staff and rebuild.

For the first time this year, I couldn't watch anymore.... shut the tv off after the 1-5 Carolina Panthers scored their 21st unanswered point and the Cards came back to get negative yards in their next possession. It's just too painful to watch this pathetic team anymore.

Bruce missing an obvious challenge accounts for 7 of those points. They've given up. He's lost himself and the locker room at this point.

I'll keep watching and rooting but am disappointed. The team isn't "pathetic", they are actually one of the most talented teams in the NFL. They have lots of problems and the problems are a result of the team leadership (Palmer, Coaches, Fitz, etc.). They do not have a winning attitude and are not playing like winners.

They need a QB that is a winner and looks at every play as the play that is going to win the game. Doesn't matter what the scoreboard says, they come out every play and inspire those around them to greatness.

The turnover was automatically reviewed, you can't challenge a play that has already been reviewed.

I don't think that was able to be challenged.

I look forward to these Cards games all week. Really disappointing when they come out playing like the team is full of scrubs with no talent.
