lol why is everyone boosting buckeye because of it's location. So what if buckeye is closer to San Diego by 45 mins? How many times are you REALLY driving to San Diego each year and 45 mins does not make that much of a difference.

I love the date shakes and that whole crazy shop but, not sure it's worth the drive in itself. In fact, I'm usually in a hurry to get to San Diego, so make my stop in Wellton at the Chevron. I starve until San Diego than eat at a taco shop and drink lots of Sculpin .

Classic Arizonans... picking suburbs for the proximity to California! I'm sure that's why 85% of Arizonans live here anyway

Why else would I be here?

Well at least you admit to it Elca Jones...

Anyway on analysis of the poll results, I was expecting things to be more evened out given different preferences and the like. However, it appears that most of the results are either very high (7 or up at this time) or very low (2 or less).

My only concern on this is that so far 77 people have voted. Last I checked we don't have 77 active Arizonans on the forum, let alone in the Phoenix metro. I expected some outsiders (free country and all) but not this many. I wonder if it skewed the results to any extremity. For an example after this thread had existed for some time, Tolleson stayed relatively low however it wasn't until the last couple pages it grew from 2 to 7 where it is at this post (me being one of these two as Tolleson was the first one to have a vote). Makes me wonder...

Also surprised not one person voted for Fountain Hills. Not that it is a terrible area, but simply because it is rather isolated and I would bet Shea Boulevard is a living hell to drive on sometimes, especially from Fountain Hills and that's only one way out of there. The other option is to drive through the Reservation into Mesa which I can also see getting backed up from time to time. Traffic, lots of driving, isolated, can all be serious cons to someone. Yes, it's high income and in a very beautiful area, but those cons still exist. Fountain Hills isn't rush hour friendly.

Overall, would you agree with the poll results? That the ones that are 7 or higher are the ones you would most likely not look at to live in? I personally would agree with most of it, except Scottsdale.

Exactly. UT and NM are AZ 2.0 and further away from the cool refreshing waves of the Pacific

I live in a California friendly location, but never go there. Can't stand San Diego; overpriced, overpopulated, and it is crawling with Zonies who have too much money. Now, Rocky Point. Being an hour or so closer to that is a plus for me.
